On Saturday I decided to spend a day away from doing school work on the computer and just enjoying the day at the beach. It began with a beautiful sunrise and a few hours of bright sunshine, then the clouds rolled in and ran began to fall. I still had a great day at the beach.

A beautiful day on the beach in February... unbelievable! At this point last year, I had so much snow I had nowhere to put it! Literally, the snow was so high, when I went to shovel, I had nowhere for it to go! The weather this year has been absolutely unbelievable. Is this a normal February day for your area of the country? It's not normal for Boston, but I LOVE it!
ReplyDeleteOur normal February is 65 in the afternoon with 40's at night. This is enough of a winter for me anymore after spending 40 years in northern West Virginia.
DeleteThanks once again Tina for brightening my day with your beautiful photos! We sure do live in a lovely place don't we!
ReplyDeleteAww, I love your day at the beach and I especially love the photo of the shells! I wish my scanner worked (maybe I can get my daughter's), because I have a picture of her when she was 2 yrs old, walking alone, kind of like that beachcomber you saw.
ReplyDeleteYour photos of the beach are very relaxing. I would love to be laying out on a warm(not hot)sunny day at the beach with a nice breeze.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos. I love the serenity of the sand and surf. Here in California our temperatures are so warm we have contemplated putting our boat in the water, ironically there isn't much water. I have enjoyed your photos, they are amazing.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful escape and disconnect from the technology ball and chain : ). The only way I can detach from work and school is to just get in the car and go. Whether heading for a destination or just driving, that imaginary cord my computer has on me is tough to sever. However, none of my closeby destinations are as beautiful as yours. I love the scenery of the beach, the smell, and the sand. I am not a water person, but truly enjoy the surf on my feet and ankles. I am so envious! My escapes usually just land me at Wal-mart, which tends to stress me out even more.
ReplyDeleteI love your photos! It reminds me that I need a vacation. I am going to San Francisco for my week of spring break on April 1st.
ReplyDeleteAren't we so lucky here to be surrounded with such things!!!!!
